President Donald Trump has unveiled a “Presidential Walk of Fame” in the White House colonnade near the Oval Office. The gallery features black-and-white portraits of past presidents framed in gold.

But where former President Joe Biden’s portrait should hang, visitors instead find an image of an autopen, according to social media posts shared by the White House and Trump aide Margo Martin.

Mocking Allegations Against Biden

The display underscores Trump’s repeated claims that Biden was unfit for office and that aides relied on an autopen to sign official documents during his presidency. The autopen is a device designed to mechanically replicate a person’s signature.

Trump has suggested—without providing evidence—that Biden did not personally approve or sign important presidential actions.

Investigations Into Autopen Use

In June, Trump directed his White House counsel to investigate the Biden administration’s use of the autopen. The Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee has also launched a parallel probe, fueling partisan battles over Biden’s legacy and record.

Biden’s Response

Former President Biden swiftly rejected the accusations. In a statement, he emphasized that he personally made the decisions on pardons, executive orders, legislation, and proclamations.

“Any suggestion that I didn’t is ridiculous and false,” Biden said. He described Trump’s attacks as “nothing more than a distraction.”
