“The Turning Point Tour,” formerly branded as “The American Comeback Tour,” resumed at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities on Monday, September 22.
The relaunch came less than two weeks after Turning Point USA co-founder and conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was assassinated in Orem, Utah.
In an emotional moment, Erika Kirk—Charlie’s widow—delivered her first public remarks since his death, vowing to continue her late husband’s mission. She also announced her new role as CEO of Turning Point USA, committing to carry forward both the fall campus tour and America Fest.
Continuing Charlie Kirk’s Legacy
On September 12, Erika Kirk affirmed that neither grief nor tragedy would halt the organization’s momentum:
“Our campus tour this fall will continue. There will be even more tours in the years to come.”
The group emphasized that every tour stop represents an opportunity to uphold Charlie’s vision: free speech, conservative activism, and mobilizing America’s youth.
